WINTER PRIDE FEST is an annual LGBTQIA+ Event in San Juan, Puerto Rico. We are dedicated to sharing our the Gay Capital of the Caribbean with guests. Share LGBTQIA+ social cause awareness and community advocacy while visiting world-class beaches, soaking in the Puerto Rican culture and more.
Winter Pride Fest (WPF) was first conceived as an event to bring new friends from around the world to San Juan to celebrate the beauty and diversity of the LGBTQ community in Puerto Rico.
The successful launch was a one-night event that took place in January of 2019 and was hosted by Puerto Rican native April Carriòn, a competitor on RuPaul’s Drag Race in Season 6.
Winter Pride Fest 2 (WPF2) was expanded to 3-days and featured many venues and events. The Saturday night drag shows set the all-time attendance record at Circo and featured the dynamic celebrity headliner Alyssa Edwards, and featured world class performances by an all transgender cast, including Adi Love, Dingo Kompé, and Luci Ferina.
Winter Pride Fest (#WPF3) is the event we will all need to close out 2020 with love, empathy and inclusivity. This will be the biggest Winter Pride Fest to date, featuring all open air events and curated, intimate experiences such as kayaking, mojito classes, hiking and other events held in smaller, more personal groups.
Last year’s event was a breakaway success and we are still excited about the future. April Carriòn will host WPF 3 again in 2020, and we are actively seeking sponsors that would like to be a part.

We left NYC where we were wearing layers and still freezing and spent a week in Puerto Rico, - beaches, rain forest, restaurants and fun going out places. San Juan is our new favorite place for gay activities and events in winter.
